Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

The following terms and conditions govern your institutional access to and use of the Remit Connect B2B domestic clearing integration network, APIs, settlement structures, and web platforms. By integrating your payment systems with Remit Connect, you represent that you hold all required financial licenses and regulatory authorization to conduct money transfer operations within your operating jurisdiction.

These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between your financial institution ("Client", "User") and Remit Connect. Please review these terms carefully before starting developer integration.

2. License and API Access

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to access our payment routing APIs and developer endpoints solely to initiate and monitor cross-border payouts. Under this license, you are required to:

  • Maintain robust credentials, cryptographic signing keys, and secure endpoints.
  • Sanitize client payloads prior to initiating remittance routing requests.
  • Prevent unauthorized access or credential leakages to unverified third parties.

3. Permitted and Restricted Use

Our routing rails must be utilized strictly to process legitimate, compliant commercial and personal remittance volumes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Routing payouts on behalf of individuals or entities listed on OFAC or APAC sanction lists.
  • Initiating payment requests associated with illegal gaming, unregulated crypto activities, or illicit commerce.
  • Attempting to bypass built-in compliance checks, rate-limit thresholds, or reverse-engineering clearing paths.

4. Settlements, Rates, and Fees

Financial settlement schedules, currency conversion margins, transaction fee tables, and corridor payout timelines are customized for each institution and detailed in your bilateral Service Level Agreement (SLA). In the event of a national clearing rail delay or local bank deposit failure, standard fallback protocols will be initiated to re-route or refund the transaction accordingly.

5. Disclaimers and Limitations

Remit Connect operates as a B2B technology routing layer. While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we are not liable for payout delays, lost exchange margins, or financial damages resulting from:

  • Outages of national clearing rails (e.g., PayNow, Fast, PromptPay).
  • Downtime or API failures of beneficiary commercial banks.
  • Delays caused by regulatory holds, compliance investigations, or sanctions checks.
  • Force majeure events, network attacks, or telecommunication grid failures.

6. Governing Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without giving effect to conflict of laws principles. Any legal disputes arising from these terms shall be settled in the competent courts of Singapore.
